Name: Bob Balfe
I am a software engineer by choice and trade. I love writing code of all kind and have pretty much dabbled in many different technologies and languages over the past 30 years. I spent seven great years in the United States Marine Corp. I am an above average golfer, I coach many of my kids sports – basketball, baseball, softball, and football (I love coaching) and I love reading and writing about technology – and that’s why I blog! I drink scotch and have a cigar on special occasions. I love singing Karaoke but no one else loves me singing it. I play some first person shooters every now and then on the XBox with my kids but that is usually in the winter. I also love snowboarding and traveling.
